Our Student Placement Assistance is designed to support CEF students facing financial challenges due to the mandatory unpaid student placement requirements of their courses.
We are calling for students who are undertaking mandatory placement in this semester.
To participate, students complete the application form below to detail the impact of loss of income, any additional expenses incurred during placement and provide a letter from your unit course coordinator or confirmation of enrolment in a practicum unit, including placement dates for the current semester.
Applications will be assessed and funds allocated based on demonstrated financial need. Applications close 2nd August 2026.
Funds are accessed through reimbursement of the placement expenses and must be expended by 31st December 2026.
Eligibility
• Currently supported by a local CEF Foundation.
• Undertaking mandatory unpaid student placement within Australia for your studies this semester.
• Demonstrate the financial impacts of the placement.
