In collaboration with GALAH Press and running concurrently with the Regional Photography Prize 2023, Country Education Foundation of Australia (CEF) is excited to announce the Galah – CEF Student and Alumni Photography Prize 2023.
The prize is open to any regional person who is receiving or has received (a student or alumni) financial support from CEF or one of its 45 community-based local foundations across Australia.

Entrants are encouraged to interpret this theme – our CEF tagline – to inform and inspire their artwork, and to consider their vision of regional Australia during the creative process in line with the work of CEF and the overarching theme of this, and the Galah Regional Photography Prize.
THE PRIZE?
Two winners will be selected with the winning entries to be transposed to greeting cards which will be used by CEF for fundraising and marketing purposes.
The winners will be invited to participate in all GALAH Regional Photography Prize exhibition opening weekend events in Murwillumbah, NSW, including the Exhibition Party on Friday 10th November with travel, accommodation and all entry fees fully subsidised.
This is a wonderful opportunity to put your talent and skills to the test, and to rub shoulders with some incredible and inspiring photographers and artists!
