2025 Audi Foundation-CEF Community Alumni Champion

The Bachelor of Primary Education graduate from The University of Wollongong (UoW) received the award as part of the 2025 Audi Foundation-CEF Alumni Awards. The Awards honour five past and present CEF-supported students who demonstrate merit, commitment and dedication to their studies or training, and are making standout contributions in their communities.

The Audi Foundation–Country Education Foundation Community Alumni Champion Award is presented to a recipient who has taken their knowledge back to a regional area to share and inspire, and who fosters further education.

CEF CEO Wendy Mason congratulated Chloe for her achievements and the contribution she was already making to the community she was working in.

“Now in her first year of teaching, Chloe remains in the Shoalhaven region where she teaches Year 5 and 6 at Nowra East Public School,” Ms Mason said.

“It’s a great way for Chloe to give back to her local community, to inspire students to strive for their dreams, the way she did.”

When it came to being recognised as the Audi Foundation-CEF Community Alumni Champion for 2025, Chloe said she couldn’t believe it.

“I feel incredibly grateful and honoured to have been put forward for this award and to have won it.”

Chloe also expressed appreciation for the grant she received during her university years from her CEF local foundation, the Shoalhaven Education Fund, and for their ongoing support

”More than anything, CEF gave me a community.
It’s the little things — a cup of tea with a volunteer, a message to check in — that made the biggest difference.

Her message to rural and regional students is simple but powerful:

“Go for it. Believe in yourself. Surround yourself with people who believe in you too.”
