Our Foundations

We have a network of nearly 50 local foundations across Australia, all assisting their local youth to access further education and training – and investing in the future of rural and regional communities.

Our local foundations award financial grants for education and employment expenses and can cover educational expenses like textbooks, travel, laptops, accommodation, tools, uniforms and other study related costs.

To be eligible for a CEF grant, you will need to apply to your CEF local foundation. CEF grants are awarded to local students aged 16-25 who live or went to school in the area of a CEF local foundation, can demonstrate need and show commitment to achieving your goal.

CEF RISING STAR A current student (1st or 2nd year) with a bright future and demonstrated commitment to achieving their goals.

CEF LAUNCHING STAR A current student (3rd year or above) with a bright future and demonstrated commitment to achieving their goals

CEF YOUNG ACHIEVER A recent graduate with determination and talent, resulting in early career accomplishments in their field of choice.

CEF COMMUNITY ALUMNI CHAMPION A recipient who has taken their knowledge back to a regional area to share and inspire, and who fosters further education.

CEF ALUMNUS OF THE YEAR A past recipient who has achieved on a regional, national or international stage, showing excellence in character and leadership and demonstrating high achievement.
