Pay It Forward Day – A Time To Encourage The ‘Gift Of Giving’

By April 28, 2020May 19th, 2020No Comments

Pay It Forward Day exists to encourage people to stand for kindness out of the goodness of their hearts. The mission is to inspire acts of kindness on this day in hopes that the ripple of good will continue throughout the entire year.

For CEF, it’s a time to recognise the importance of “giving back” to your community. Volunteering is at the heart of what we do.

As Elaine Clarke of CEF Coleambally/Darlington Point says: “we are inspired by the dreams and hard work of our students, and their wishes to return to rural communities and share their expertise”.

“Being able to give back to our community is one of the best things about being a volunteer.”

“By giving to our youth, they in turn will give back to us,” said Jenny Armstrong from CEF Grenfell.

We encourage people to heed the advice of Elaine, Margaret, Rebecca and Jen here in this video and find the closest CEF Foundation to where you live and participate in brightening the future of young students, who in turn support community on one level.

If you’d prefer to give in the form of a donation, please visit our donate page below.
