Teaching students go here!

CEF Aspirational Influencer Raymond Happ’s one-on-one Teaching Q&A Session and Mentor Opportunity.

More about this opportunity

Raymond knows it can be daunting to leave a small town to study at Uni. He wants to help rural and regional students navigate making the most of studying and their career.

Local CEF Foundation: Coonamble District Education Fund
Hometown: Coonamble Now living in: Coonamble

Since completing a double degree in arts and teaching at the University of New England (UNE), Raymond returned to his old stomping ground, Coonamble High School. After a one term contract, was offered a full time position as a History, Geography and Aboriginal Studies teacher, the year 10 advisor and is now also working with Aurora College. On top of that, he has also gone back to university, studying a Bachelor of Education (In-service Conversion) specialising in English. In Raymond’s ‘spare time’, he is also a member of the CEF Coonamble local foundation!

Raymond was our CEF Young Achiever in 2020 for the CEF Alumni Awards.
