Country Education Foundation Australia (CEF) is thrilled to announce the inaugural ‘Boot Bash’ on Friday 15th March 2024!
Our goal is to build awareness of the post-school education participation gap that exists between regional and metropolitan youth, and raise additional funds for every CEF student in 2024. We want to help them kickstart their year – and we need your support!
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
Wear your favourite boots for the ‘Boot Bash’
Post photos on social media using the hashtags #CEFBootBash and #kickingitforeducationequality
Host a ‘Boot Bash’ fundraising event, such as a morning tea or ‘wear your boots to work’ day and encourage gold coin donations
Get local schools, universities and workplaces involved by encouraging them to host a ’Boot Bash’ event
Donate items to our charity auction and/or promote to your networks
Get your mates together in their favourite boots and help us give our students a kickstart!
We can’t sidestep the fact that rural and regional students have a harder hike to education success. That’s why the CEF Boot Bash aims to raise funds to provide additional direct support to CEF students supported in 2024 to kickstart their year.
By registering your Boot Bash event, you will receive your exclusive ‘Kickstart‘ pack and our official CEF stamp of approval!
We are excited to work with our Principal Partner, AuctionsPlus, to deliver an online auction that will support the Boot Bash initiative.
It will run from Monday, 11th March 2024 to Friday, 15th March 2024 to line up with the ‘Boot Bash’. We are encouraging our supporters to participate in the auction by donating, bidding and spreading the word.
There will be some amazing items up for grabs… you will need to be over the age of 18 and register on the site to be able to place your bid – or bids! You can find instructions HERE.
