Details: Applicant to provide evidence of Sound academic achievement / Community/ regional involvement / Career goals and aspirations Commitment to improving the environment and contributing to regional communities Applicants to demonstrate their financial hardship (completion of the hardship section of the online application is compulsory). Preference will be given to Indigenous applicants or a student who has demonstrated an interest in positive indigenous outcomes. Preference will also be given to applicants from or working in regional NSW. NOTE: Scholarship value of $10,000 per annum will be paid as 2x $5,000 instalments per year over a maximum of 3 years pending ongoing enrolment and a credit average GPA (5.0 and above) is maintained. Students being awarded the scholarship in their 2nd year will only receive 2 years payments and 1 year for 3rd year students. In addition to providing financial support through the Foundation Scholarship, C02 Australia is committed to providing the scholarship recipient with the opportunity to gain a broader set of professional experiences while studying. Depending on the interests of the recipient, during the life of the scholarship this may include:- Seasonal and casual work placements, allowing for some real-world work experience and on the job training while continuing to study. Student internships, or support to student research projects, so as to provide learning opportunities through accessing the expertise of some of Australia's leading environmental and land management practitioners.
