We currently have the following positions available:

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

The Communications Specialist is responsible for gathering and developing content for the promotion of CEF in consultation with the Head of Engagement, Media & Impact.

This is a full time role, however hours may be negotiated and flexibility will be considered for the right applicant.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing an ongoing digital strategy, including new forms of content to support CEF brand, campaign and engagement strategies in consultation with the Head of team and CEO.
  • Developing new content for CEF platforms social media and assets.
  • Developing and implementing quality content for social media channels including writing and graphic design.
  • Monitoring social media platforms with regular posting, commenting, and networking.
  • Monitoring media, build media relationships and identify and secure opportunities.
  • Supporting PR, advocacy and external opportunities.
  • Writing and distributing press releases and blog articles.

YOU WILL HAVE

  • Experience in graphic design or marketing.
  • Expertise in digital communications.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level attention to detail and ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work both autonomously and within a small team.
  • The ability to easily engage with colleagues, students, volunteers, Board members, stakeholders and donors.
  • A genuine understanding and commitment to CEF’s vision, mission and values.

STUDENTS AND ALUMNI SPECIALIST

As a member of the Community Engagement team responsible for CEF’s growth and connection with community, the Student and Alumni Specialist specifically supports and engages with CEF students and alumni developing relationships from which to strengthen the CEF network.

This is a full time role, however hours may be negotiated and flexibility will be considered for the right applicant.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • The key contact at national office for all communications with students and alumni.
  • Establish and manage alumni specific program and resources such as aspirational influencers, mentoring and peer-to-peer networking.
  • Build and grow the CEF Alumni Program through strong relationships and engagement with students.
  • Manage the annual Alumni Awards.
  • Facilitate student experience camps as required.
  • Facilitate student engagement opportunities in collaboration with the Manager of Partnerships
  • Manage student applications and convert leads.
  • Manage the selection process, allocation and reporting for national scholarships.
  • Follow up student reports as required.
  • Gather, record, and maintain quantitative and qualitative data to empower and support our programs and platforms.
  • Liaise with other team members to generate and distribute CEF student stories for the promotion of the CEF purpose and brand.
  • Manage communications relevant to students and alumni to achieve high engagement.
  • Work with Communications Specialist to develop student and alumni collateral.
  • Responsible for student and alumni social media including regular posting, commenting, and networking with students and alumni.
  • Support and advocate for students as required
