Forty three school students from Cowra, Deniliquin, Gilgandra and Lockhart headed to Canberra in July for a taste of uni life, courtesy of our education partners the Australian National University (ANU) and the University of Canberra (UC).

The annual visit gives students real life experience on a uni campus through hands-on workshops, mingling with students and exploring the multitude of careers available.

For most of the students it was a real eye-opener, as Georgie Tucker (Cowra) explained:

Uni isn’t as scary as I thought. I loved the trip! It was a great experience and such a wonderful opportunity!

Thank you Origin!

A big thank you to the Origin Foundation which also helped make this experience possible.
